Lucid Dream.
LMAO
For now I'm keeping it small enough.
1) High Jump. *completed recently*
2) Get a DC to bring me something I want.
3) Climb through a mirror.
4) Have a lengthy conversation with a DC.
For now when laying it bed I think about the DC getting me an object I want. What kind of object? Not quite sure, I must pin that one down. That being said when I go lucid I always get too exited and deviate from that plan.
I've been wondering how gaming industry will change in the future and was daydreaming of one of my favorite games Rome: Total War.
So that would be cool. Lead a Roman legion into battle INSIDE the game, but with "realistic graphics"... Hmm... Result will look brutal.
More civilized goal is to be the captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise (the starship, not the aircraft carrier :-) ).
When it's thunder storm in the real (?) world ;-) perfect LD would be flying around and shoot lightnings out of my hands.
And the most realistic goal is to have any kind of LDs.
My goals could pretty much be summed up to
[ ] Master WILD
[Insert letter here]ILD on a regular basis.
Learn to WILD at will
Also, see my other goals in my signature
My goals change so quickly...
Fight Nerimeno
Return to DW and say hi to the survivors
Get people to use TILD (It is a goal and involves lucidity... even if not mine)
Find and beat some members for the fun of it.
Here are my goals:
1) WILD at will
2) Have a conversation that I can actually remember with a DC
3) Find my dream guide
4) Ask my dream guide what the meaning/purpose of life is
5)Go to Cotton Candy World
6) Eat as much chocolate and cake as I want
7) Turn into a guy
When I was a little kid, I would go to sleep every night wishing that kaiju movies were real and that when I awoke I would be in one (in japan, of course) Which could never have come true, but all the wishing gave me kaiju dreams which were very entertaining even if they weren't lucid.
One of my few remaining LD goals would be to recreate the awe and mystery I found in my childhood giant monster dreams.
For me, I wasn't wishing for the monsters to destroy things, it was the smaller scale aliens and human action in front of the monster backstory.
The first goal I will tackle is to fly as high as I possibly can before waking up
[ ] Lucid Dream
I don't have any goals like powers or activities and such.
I'm currently working on stabilizing the dreams making them longer and more vivid. Untill then I'll do whatever comes to mind.
However my goal when it comes to technique would be to fully master DEILD, without any alarmclock or combination with classic WBTB/WILD.
If you're willing to add checked off goals,
[X] Master/Perfect my DILD technique (when I was doing it I got lucid every day, so there you go)
[ ] Master/Perfect my WILD and DEILD techniques (which pretty much go together)
[ ] Master/Perfect my VILD technique
[ ] Master/Perfect something I like to call the "Natural DILD" technique, where I get to a point where I recognize dreams with no waking effort. I'm not sure what the key to this is, but I got near it at some point so I know it's possible, in addition to the many natural lucid dreamers out there. (I just might not accomplish this, so it's not really a goal.)
[ ] Once I'm able to have lucid dreams often enough so that this practice won't get disrupted (i.e. when I'm not just starting a new technique), work on increasing the length and vividness of my dreams, along with my dream control.
[ ] When I finish my other goals, go on and have a lifetime of amazing experiences through my lucid dreams.
This list might take a while, but hey, the first one only took 4 months. I suppose DILD would be harder than WILD though, since WILD is more of following steps to have a lucid dream, but DILD is unpredictable and you can't tell if you'll LD or not. Maybe WILD is more difficult though. I'll see. Gonna start goal 2 on Tuesday.
By the way, I do have many more detailed lists of goals to keep myself motivated, it's not like I bring this up once a year and check one off :P
Recall more than 3 dreams per night [ ]
Have 5 more DILDs [ ] 2/5
Have 10 more WILDs [ ] 5/10
Do more RCs daily [X]
Find a suitable supplement [ ]
Successfully teleport [ ]
Transform into an animal [ ]
Successfully explore my own dreamscape [ ]
Complete 'Task of the year' [ ]
Summon an anime character [ ]
Swim the ocean [X]
Find a mirror [X]
Tell a DC that he/she isn't real [X]
Also, last night I decided that I want to fly to the moon.
