i suppose there's no reason behind this question other than pure curiosity. maybe if i don't go to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning i could get better recall (yeah, i'm still in that stage).
also, does an alarm clock disturb your recall process?

I usually go to bed around midnight and wake up around 8 or nine. IMO an alarm clock can sometimes affect dream recall. If it wakes you up, distracts you long enough then yea, you'll forget your dream. But if you were having a very vivid dream and you wake up and continue focusing on it you'll be fine. It all depends on the person.
I usually go to bed sometime around 11:00 to 2:00 in the morning depending on how tired I am/what I have to do in the morning.
I don't think an alarm clock should disturb your recall process at all.
I go to bed about 11 to 12.
- Wake up naturally about 1:30am every night
- Wake up naturally at about 5:30am every night.
- and then wake up by alarm at 7:30am
Weekends I stay in bed till about 10am =]=]
My body clock is screwed.
As long as your alarm does not distract you from remembering your dreams then you should be fine. To do this, you could have the alarm closer to you so you dont have to move much.
i go to bed at about 11 or 12 and wake up at about 9 or 11
i get alot of sleep... if it was straight through the night and i didnt set my alarm for like three thirty, fife thirty and six thirty.
I'm trying to get to bed earlier, but I usually end up going to sleep around 11-12. I wake up multiple times in the morning due to mantras. I'll set an alarm to wake me up at 6am whenever I'm attempting WILD, but I'm not sure what times I wake up after(I don't move due to DEILD attempts).
