I started up Windows Messenger to chat with a friend and was granted a sub-headline labeled "Can you learn to control dreams?"

Lucid Dreaming doesn't make the news that often, could this be a sign of increasing popularity, or just the latest media poke?
I wouldn't get my hopes up about it incereasing popularity. Just another media story about it, but hey, at least we're gettin something in the news.
That is pretty cool, though the guy didn't seem thrilled with his experience. Then again, how many newbies wake up from their first nearly immediately :tongue:
Hah, yeah stuff like that randomly happens. I believe it was on the front page of Yahoo a couple of months ago as well, with a link to a Yahoo Answers page. Hey, a few months ago my favorite band, which is quite obscure, was the featured page on Wikipedia. About a month later another one of my favorite bands was in the same position, and last week another. I'm guessing that there's simply someone who works at wikipedia with briliant taste in music hahaha
It better becomes more popular, now we only need google to feature it and done.
A while back i saw a news special on lucid dreaming where the reporter went to this guy's office and used a nova dreamer mask, and Attack of the show also had a segment about lucid dreaming, so i think it is definitely getting more popularity...i think its only a matter of time until nat geo and discovery start puting out tv shows on lucid dreaming as well.
Let's just hope it doesn't get new-aged.
