Does anyone else hear random voices saying random things while falling asleep? It happens to me quite often and it feels like it came out of nowhere, like someone else thought of it. Sometimes when it happens, I snap myself out of it, open my eyes and it feels like someone was just in the room saying it. Kinda creepy :)
Happens to me all the time. It's actually helped me to have unintentional WILDs at times, when the chatter becomes really insane and makes no sense you actually think about it and think, oh man I'm about to fall asleep, it tends to throw me into that vibrational/HI state. Hope that made sense.
Cool. Usually I'm aware of it and I can sort of "guide" the dialogue in a certain direction. Too bad I don't maintain conscious thought long enough to bring on a WILD though :?
Actually, that chatter from your subconscious can be useful. Try thinking of a question thats been bothering you, or maybe a dream you've had trouble interpreting and then see what "chatter" comes up, you'd be suprised what you might find out.
I've been trying to do that actually for a while. I've always been quite surprised at what my subconscious comes up with. It really is like there's another person in my head :-P Oh great I'm crazy :D
Haha...today before and while I was entering the vibrational state I heard my mom talking REALLY LOUDLY about otters. I remembered this thread about the random chatter and made it a point to remember the things she was saying but even now I sort of forget. I have a feeling even if I did remember they wouldn't have made any sense. All I know was that it was about otters and other sea mammals. Seriously...WTF!!
i get this all the time. i think it's just stuff i hear all day long repeated by the wonders of the mind. also, this could be used to acknowledge that one's entering that stage of sleep... therefore... into general discussion it goes.

I went into a trance during lunch break at work one day. I partially visualised my mom and my aunt sitting at a table with me. I more just "sensed" that they were there, rather. But they started talking between themselves. I came out of it and felt like it had just happened for real.
And today I did that, but instead of random chatter, I saw myself sitting at my computer for a split second, then went back to my body. It was weird how real it felt!
