3 Lucid dreams in one night!? DXM?

3 Lucid dreams and feeling good! All of them were not that long, but they were still amazing. I bet people on DV have had 3 lucid's in a night, but I'm posting this now because yesterday, about 7 hours previous to sleeping, I did DXM. Has anyone else done DXM and experienced easier lucidity that night?

It's the stuff in cough syrup. I have no clue if it effects lucid dreaming myself, but I'm sure someone on here could tell you one way or the other.

Congrats on having 3 LD's in one night, impressive.

Hahaha DXM I dabbled with that back in the day a few times. I find it pretty hard to sleep on DXM or even coming down off it, it's still hard.

But yes DXM when you finally do manage to sleep in my experience increases the Clarity, Resolution, Sharpness, and dream recall. However this is more so on lower doses, when you up the dose it seems to negatively impact dreamin

Remember when you take DXM make sure that the only active ingredient in the product is Dextromethorphan. If you would like some more detailed lnformation or my epxeriences PM or ask questions.

Not burst your bubble, but I'm very very exp dxm user, and know the chem very well. You did not have luicd dreams, nor does it help you have lucid dreams. It has stimulant effects at high dosages with lsd/pcp effects along with it. You will not sleep on a dose high enough to create a vivid exp.

Low dosages don't do anything other then help with your cough and give you a lil drunk feeling like you had a few beers. At very high does or "platues" what they are called, You are awake the whole time in a 3rd person out of the box view, dxm is a dissositve, It may feel like your dreaming but if u were really on a dxm trip you are awake the whole entire time, there for its not lucid dreaming, its a very real like vivid dream LIKE but not a dream, trip. Its a trip.

Dxm causes major brain damage if this is done often, it does not help with lucid dreams whats so ever no matter what dumb ass tells you. Do more research on drugs before you put them in your body, dont trust read trip reports on erowid, alot of those are retarded ass people who have no fuckin clue what they are saying.

People just don't know the diff between a trip and a dream.

You know, vividnightstalker, I have done DXM plenty of times myself and have noticed an increase in dream vividness from doses as low as twice the recommended dose. So it would stand to reason that this difference in vividness could very well induce lucid dreams.

But I do agree people should be wary of drug experimentation without researching a little more than erowid.

I thought I was to, until I really paid attention and I was still awake. I would doze off into lil states, waking states, with vivid pictures in my head. I was not dreaming, It would be a dream of my body was asleep to, and my mind was a awake aka lucid dreaming. But my body stays awake and i constantly toss and turn when I do low doses and try to sleep.

DXM is a wonderful fun drug to use if you know what your useing it for. Its not a party drug, its not a drug to fool with. Just like ketamine, another dissoistive drug (sorry for spelling my keybored is kinda fuked right now) It can cause major dmg, but unlike normal drugs people mess with, it will mess you up in a way you wont be yourself and end up in the psych ward.

I never had that personaly and sorry if my above post sound harsh or rude, i just get very angery when people mess with drugs like dxm and use it for lucid dreaming (it really wont help you).

I use dxm mabey once every 5 months. Like a dream journal, I keep a dxm journal. Dxm has my mind thinking in a diff way for me to help understand alot of complex issues I have in my real life stress. I think useing it in low doses is pointless because it does not do anything...might as well drink some beers its much better for u.

I didn't use DXM to lucid dream. I didn't use it before sleep. I slept about 7 hours after I had taken it. And it just so happened that I had 3 Lucid dreams that night.

How do you know it wouldn't help me? Just because it doesn't for you, doesn't mean it won't for me. We're all different.
