In a LD is it possible to give your subconscience a body and tell it to give you LD. If not could you just talk to it so you can try and remember things you might have forgoten? Just a thought :!:

It's quite possible, though I've never done it myself. However, telling it to give you LD's may not work; I've heard many people say that their subconscious is uncooperative, and sometimes just plain mean. Another problem is that sometimes a random dream character will masquerade as your subconscious (or dreamguide, if you're looking for them), and it's difficult to tell the difference.
Scruffy hit the nail on the head, at least for what happened to me (the 'plain mean')
Lets just say I had a massive argument, and it caused problems for my LD's for a while
That doesnt mean it *cant* work... some people strike deals with their subconscious for other skills (besides LDs)
In theory, it can work, if you can get agreement and friendliness :)
[EDIT]
Oh yes, and like Scruffy said - theres that little problem of not knowing if its really your subconscious manifested :P
I honestly dont know if mine was ...
I have had two Lucid dreams that an exact image of myself appeared. I was startled at first but then I thought in the similar fashion to what you are talking about. I felt is was my subconcoius.
I have often thought that most of the dream characters are representations of your subconcious.
As far as being possible = I can't see how anything is not possible if you believe it can happen. :D
I don't think you can get your entire "subconscience" into any form to talk to. I think it might be possible to get different parts of your mind in there though, but since you cant the whole thing I doubt you could get it to do much.
Years before I found this site I knew dream control was impossible. And that first night I knew I was going to have an LD all night. So forgive me if I keep on trying.
I read a book on self-hypnosis a couple years ago. It said the subconscience may be uncooperative if you sound demanding towards it. Don't say "make me have a lucid dream", instead, say "You want to give me a lucid dream" or something like that. Youre supposed to sound optimistic and suggestive. (I read that book a while ago, so i dont really know if i remember that perfectly haha.. but it was something like that)
tim..sounds like excellent advice..i;ll make a mental note on that whenever i get a chance to talk to it again
but I agree with someone up above me. I asked my subconcious/DG/whatever it is for more lucid dreams in a nice way and he said no. i asked why, but he wouldnt say..he tried the best to completely dodge the question....asshole >=/
mmm,
i-find-that-often-my-subconcious-answers-the-question-before-ive-finsihed-saying-it......either-that-or-i-cant-work-out-if-i-am-actually-talking-to-my-subconcious-or-whether-im-just-making-it-up-and-there-is-no-'other-me'
Tend-not-to-argue-with-it-anymore-but-ive-been-having-strange-dreams-about-dying-and-violence....so-theres-something-derranged-going-on-somewhere-in-me-brain:)
P.S.Sorry-for-the-dashes-but-me-space-bar-be-f00ked:)
This seems to tie in to my experience - I was a little demanding and obnoxious :)Quote:
