Music in lucid dreams

Hey everyone! I was wondering if music in and LD would be an amazing experience, or just complete rubbish. My reason is, I want to have an awesome rave in my dreams with a few friends.

Actually, that sounds really cool. It depends, though. If you do decide to get music in a dream, try not to screw it up by inserting the wrong kind of music. That would be my mistake...

ive had a few experiences with music in lucid dreams

most of the time it is cause my radio on but a few select times there will be no music coming from the real world

its interesting to see how your mind puts songs together. any misheard lyrics will become the actual ones :D

If this is true, I'm gunna try listening to Wishmaster, by nightwish. The misheard lyrics video is really funny!

I've found an Ipod in a LD a few times and listened to music. It was not rubbish, in fact it was quite good. Strange that your mind can make up music like that on the spot.

Music in dreams that is purely the invention of the dream is usually awesome and original for me. I recall one time in an accidental WILD I found myself pretty much disembodied floating through something like the itunes visualizer, while listening to trance music :P. Very fun, I recommend it.

I fall asleep listening to my itunes playlists, all the time. Periodically throughout my dreams I'll hear some songs from my playlist, lol. In one of my lucids I was battling Sephiroth and I imagined "One Winged Angel" playing to make the battle more intense. Sure enough it began to play in the background of my battle. I have also had random music play at parties in my dreams. I don't recall paying much attention to it though. Actually, one time, in a normal dream, Lil' Wayne was rapping at a party I was at and I woke up to find out the song he was singing was playing on my itunes, lol.

I've invented songs in dreams before, or had dreams especially dedicated to making music. It's really fun, and immensly easy for me to do when it happens. But I cannot control when it happens.

I listen to my ipod a lot and sometimes it comes across in my dreams.
It depends how much you listen to the song that is playing. Sometimes my favorite songs play while I am in SP and they sound exactly the same as they do in real life. But I think this is because I over play them in waking life.

Once I was laying in bed and I entered SP. One of my favorite began to play and I thought I left my head phones in. So i got out of SP to check and nothing was there :P
