Ya see, every time i do somethign i love to do in the dream i do it and then i suddenly forget im dremaing and skip here and there...i the heck do i stay lucid where i know im in a dream becuase soemtiems i just forget it then wlak aroudn liek a idoit being pupeted. The answer to your first question...
Keep it in your mind that it's all just a dream and that you have control over it! Remember it! Don't let that knowledge slip away!
I have heard that asking your subconscious to help you out works.
It may sound crazy, but yelling out into the air, "Lucidity 100%!" actually will increase your lucidity. Doing anything else like that, where you ask/order your subconscious to bolster your lucidity, is very effective.
To answer your second question...
Be diligent in whatever technique you are using to LD! :)
If you are doing it by DILDing, practice those RCs! Practice, practice, practice! Keep up with it, until it becomes a habit!
If you are WILDing, practice! Attempt it every night, or as often as you can, until it comes easily to you!
If you are having natural LDs without using an active technique to purposefully have them, then you're one lucky ducky. If you want to have even more than you already do naturally (assuming that you have natural ones), then use one of the active techniques to get even more LDs! Actively induced ones in addition to natural ones!

Yes, like WakataDreamer said, yelling things in your dream can work, such as some people yell "Clarity Now" to increase clarity in their dream.
