Have you ever painted your dreams?

Hi everybody!
The phrase "painted your dreams" sounds kinda wrong, but I didn't come up with any better, so...

I searched for similar threads and found one, but it was about painting your dreams to increase dream recall and stuff like that.

Here goes:
I wonder if you've ever painted your dreams, or maybe made a movie about them or something like that.. I've thought about doing this myself, but never put any real effort to make it happen.. When I DO make it happen, I'll upload them to a website.

So if you have done this and have them on a website; please share them :)
It would be interesting to see what people's dreams looks like

I'm pretty new, but I love to scketch. For all my LD's I have done some scketches of the scenes, just cause I liked them.

Lucid

When I kept a dream journal, I tried my best to sketch a scene from whatever dream I had, but I'd never turn out right. I am very artistic and creative, so I know it's not my artistic abilities, but I cannot seem to capture my dreams correctly as a drawing.

I usually sketch my dreams. Well, some dreams anyway. It depends on how realistic the dreams were...Like, I've had some dreams that were clearly impossible to draw (one with five dimensions, it was SO trippy) but I love to sketch out the scene to help me remember. Sometimes when I'm lucid (er...let me rephrase that. Once, when I was lucid, and I plan on doing it next time I'm lucid as well) I sketch out the dream while I'm dreaming, then wake up, remember the drawing from the dream, and try to recreate it.

I don't wanna sound lika an expert, cause believe me, I'm not :).. but maybe it's because you're picturing your dream like a movie, so that it gets hard to capture it all on one pic (hope you got what i meant :)) maybe you should try and focus on one stillframe and paint that... just a thought

That sounds like something I have to try next time I'm lucid, but for that to happen, I think going to bed earlier is a good idea ;)

Hm...good point about the capturing a movie thing. If your lucidity gets high enough, try to alter your dream so that you're watching it on DVD, then pause it and memorize the freeze-frame.

me and a friend of mine are writing a screen play. In the movie, it shows two people's lives, not as one plot, but as two intertwined. It's gonna be cool. BUT getting to the point. In my part of the movie, i'm going to be putting a few dreams into it. It's gonna be fun, and should turn out well

There was one recurring dream I had one time that had a really cool part where I was in some heavenly place (I think I posted about it a while ago) and I made several sketches of it. I sketch my dreams a lot; it helps me to retain feelings from the dreams. Unfortunately, none of them are on the web though.

Films that are inspired by dreams :D When i was at Uni i scripted a film i was going to make called "White Noise" but i didnt finish the course and the film kind of went out the window, but if i do go back in the future i will definetly produce it into a movie. Its about memories and the difference to our perceptions during sleep and waking life, how in our waking life we are subject to adverstising, war, chaos, disorder etc that takes over our mental space. If someone was striped of all their memories how would they be able to cope, without the connection we feel to friends, family, environment etc.

my synopsis is below if anyone is interested in this kind of stuff.

Ive also done a break down of the entire script, it doesnt really look much on paper but basically i would love to make it into a movie, i really love strange films like david lynch and experimental shorts.

If something in my dream is too complex or I'm unable to express it in writing, I have made sketches and drawn diagrams, but to someone else they would not make any sense. They are only there to help my own personal recall.
