All the LDs i have had so far have lasted no longer then a minute. most of them start with a false awakening so i don't even have time to leave my house. i have tried the stabilising techniques at the begin but admit that i don't continue that throughout the dream.
I am by no means a pro, but you really just have to not let yourself wake up, you know? Focus. Focus on an object when you feel yourself fading, and chances are, your dream stableizes! I was pretty good at doing this today. In one lucid I had this morning, I did this a couple of times before I woke up!

Rubbing your hands together, focusing on your hands or focusing on something else in graphic detail within the dream and spinning around are all helpful ways that people have used to maintain lucidity within their dreams.
Even if you do wake up, just don't move and don't open your eyes that way you can DEILD or chain lucid dreams so you can have many!
