more than just a personal correlation ?

Does anyone else notice a direct correlation between faith and the ability to fly in a dream?

about 5 years ago I noticed that After taking mushrooms and having a spiritually enlightened experience that I could fly in my dreams. It was very hard to control and it was all about a feeling inside me I couldn't Identify. This is at a point in my life where I transitioned from Atheist to Agnostic. After not taking Mushrooms for a while I flew less and less in my dreams (my faith also waned). Mind you these dreams weren't lucid.

Now within the last year I've gained a bit of faith and my flying in my dreams is getting stronger in both lucid and non.

Ah, a fellow agnostic...welcome! I tend more to the atheist side of things, but a handful of philosophies have captured my interest.

I think lucid dreaming is a highly personalized experience, and the whole faith-flying relationship works well for you because you expect it to. For me, however, I may draw strength from the prospect of wreaking havoc/creating mayhem. :mwahaha: It varies from person to person. However, I'm sure that this would help a lot of people with their flying.

I'm an atheist, and I've flown in dreams. But I guess that if you are the kind of person who believes in magic, you're also the kind of person who will believe they can fly no problem. No offense to Theists or polytheists of any flavour.

The reason I can fly in my dreams is because of playing too much City of Heroes/Villains. It has nothing to do with my faith, or lack thereof.
