Looking for a breakthrough in vividness and conciousness

I've been having lucids about 2-3 times a week now, and they have been getting pretty vivid... to a point. I mean, they're vivid when I'm in them, but I can't really seem to remember them as clearly (when I wake up), as I experienced them in the dream, or at least as clearly as my mind thought I experienced them.

When I experience my lucid dreams, some are kind of foggy, that I don't remember as well (I can only remember attaining lucidity), but others I can remember just about everything that I did, whether I was flying or talking to people, etc. I also remember what I was thinking in the dream, and most of the time I'm thinking how incredibly vivid the dream is. I remember how perfectly clear everything is, without any blurs, and how high my level of conciousness is. The only problem is I can't seem to remember the experience, like what I described above, when I wake up.

I remember in my dreams, thinking to myself, "Wow! I have finally truly woken up in my dream," being amazed at my accoplishmenets, but when I wake up I realized I haven't truly truly woken up in my dream yet, because I would have remembered it like a "waking conciousness" experience, if that makes any sense. I would have remembered it like an experience that I had in waking life, with my waking conciousness.

Last time I was in a lucid dream, I actually contemplated staring at one thing in my dream, to see if I could remember it when I woke up, but I got carried away doing other, more fun things.

I'm sure anyone who has ever experienced this knows what it's like. To be truly truly, awake in your dream. I and others can talk about the vividness and conciousness of our dreams, but there is this certain breakthrough point, where you realize that all your other lucids weren't really as amazing as this one. I've only expereicend a very low level of this breakthrough, during my dream following my unsuccesful WILD attempt. I was so aware of everything I saw, even though it was incredibly blurry, that I was a bit freaked out, and I tried to blink my way out of my dream. I wish I hadn't though.

In conclusion, I'm just looking to find these kinds of lucid dreams, the lucid dreams that are like amazing false awakenings, and out of body experiences. These are the awesome dreams, that I want to have on a regular schedule. I have lots of years to reach this stage, so, no pressure, but this is what I'm looking for in my dreams. I'm sure there are many people here who have experiened it. Thats really awesome. And others like me, still search for it. So good luck to us who look to breakthrough our normal levels of conciousness in dreams and truly awaken in our dreams!

Yea, I know what you mean.

In my most memorable Lucid, I realized I was dreaming, but I hadn't really come into the conclusion that I was dreaming, and that I had complete control over the dream and what the possibilitys where, it was like playing a realistic video game, but you still knew it was a video game.

But when I started to fly in my dream, I really "Woke up" into the dream to realize that I was dreaming and I could take it to the corners of the universe.

It's quite an amazing feeling and I congratulate others who have shared the experience.
