Well, depending on your point of view, this could work... some people (including some Wiccans) believe that stones and other objects can aid in things like healing, enhancing spiritual powers, or, as you just found out, lucid dreaming. It all depends on what you believe. If you are interested in further information on this topic, a tutorial thread entitled "Of Stones and Stuff" was made on this, and may prove to be enlightening.
      ...And then to dream...

I am not a Wiccan so, in my point of view, I don't think the ring would work. Thanks for the reply!

personally, i would not, but if you like the ring, then i guess so. if nothing else, your mind may associate it with dreaming so that when you see it in your dreams, you think, hey i am dreaming.

it might work as a placebo: If you believe it will work then your brain will store that fact in your brain probably giving you more of a chance. But if you don't believe then don't bother, because it probably won't do crap. Just believe in yourself Mancon you could do it. Or if you want a recomendation from me, grab some Dream Herb aka Celea Zachatachichi (I do not know how to spell that lol) but search it and you'll find it. It makes dreams very vivid if you smoke it or drink it in a tea, BUT I warn you it has also made my nightmares extra vivid to. But I like nightmares it gives me ideas for writing stories or enemys in video games that I'm making.

I think that objects can work to help induce lucid dreams, even if it is just a subconsious/placebo thing. I'm a FIRM believer in the placebo effect!
