      New little WILD adventure

I usually put my alarm clock half an hour before I have to get up. So I can lie in bed for a little longer. That's just my thing

So during the last week, I've been setting my alarm clock in the middle of the night as well, in an appropriate time for me, to practice WILD. I've noticed that I just can't do it during week days, because I can't get myself out of bed, or if I do, and get out for about 15 min, wake myself up real good, but just fall asleep back again ><

So I thought. What if I'd put my alarm clock, instead of half an hour, a full hour before I actually have to wake up, and try WILD then. So today I did. I woke up an hour before I actually have to get out of bed, and tried to WILD. I feel like I came real close to SP. It was surreal. I had some hypnagogic imagery, and at a moment, I noticed a figure coming into my room. A dark figure, that became clearer and clearer as it came closer.

It was my mom, waking me up to tell me I had overslept.

      X_X FAIL.

Just wanted to share that with you guys :p

      At least you're getting closer!

And you're adapting to your environment and situation and experimenting with new methods to make yourself more efficient at what you're trying to do. So most importantly, you're learning

i actually attempted the same thing this morning after hitting snooze like 3 times and experiencing hypnagogic hallucinations each time. i then decided to just sleep for another 30 minutes and had a pretty trippy dream although it wasnt lucid i still had a false awakening in it before waking up. ive come to realize that taking a nap after being awake for a few hours is hands down the most effective method of becoming lucid for me. ill have 2-3 lucid dreams a week on average now however my levels of lucidity vary. if WILD is working for you in the morning perhaps you should try it a little later in the day when your brian is more aware.

Nice, Denise! It sounds like you are making good progress. Once you start seeing some HI, stay calm, sit back, and try to immerse yourself within the images/scenes. Basically, once you figure out how to get yourself into SP, all you have do is practice. Just keep practicing and WILDs will become easier and easier for you. Good Luck!

      Ahh cool

I have a hard time falling asleep when I'm napping during day. One time I felt like I was snoozing off, but then I just.. 'woke up' as fast as I snoozed off >.>

      And thanks yoshi

I think I have to set the alarm clock earlier though... and set a few clocks to make sure I don't oversleep again >.> I can NOT come late at my internship I'll keep you updated ^_^
