Characters in lucid dreams

It seems that about half of my lucid dreams, I have a hard time deciding whether or not the characters in my dreams are real.

For example, in the middle of a good quality lucid dream, I was trying to throw a t.v. with my mind and I was scared of being judged by my family in the room. Especially if the t.v. failed to move.

In my most recent lucid dream, I was with my girlfriend in her backyard and I really wanted to shoot up into the sky and fly through the clouds and junk but she was talking to me and I didn't want to be rude so I stayed on the ground. She was actually acting as if she was a physical person doing some kind of experiment to my dreaming self.

Anyone have this problem? It doesn't bother me too much besides that it puts more pressure on doing some of the things I want to do.

Some of my DCs act like "real life" people and some don't. I often treat my DCs as if they were real, but I wouldn't worry about being rude to them. I'm sure they will forgive you in a later lucid. If you didn't want to be rude to your girl in the lucid, you should have taken her hand and had her fly with you! I often take my DCs along with me during my lucid experiences. You can always let the DCs know that they are dreaming as well, and they will explore with you! Good Luck!
