Can I learn to have more vivid dreams?

Hi,
I've been working on LDing this time around for just about three months and have had enough success that I am very encouraged and excited.

My LDs are short, but it seems to be easy to control them by saying politely, "I want such-and-such to happen." So far whatever it is happens immediately.

But I notice that my LDs are no more vivid than my non-LDs are, which is to say some are vivid enough, but some are murky.

For instance, I KNOW Johnny Depp is with me, but I don't actually see him in detail, or even really see him at all. I keep reading that a notable characteristic of LDs is how vivid they are. Will that come in time? Can I learn to increase vividness?

I heard that apple juice increases vividness, I've never tried it myself though.

Well, brings one question to mind: do you remember to thoroughly stabilize your dreams one you become lucid? Because aside from lengthening the dream, it will greatly increase the clarity.

They've been pretty short so far, so I don't have much experience with stabilizing the dream. Do you have any tips in that regard? (Thank you for the apple juice idea, Hot Chocolate. I'm hoping to train my mind to do it all on its own, but all suggestions are welcome!)

To have more vivid dreams the trick is to focus on one thing at a time during the dream or you can shout "Clarity" or "I'm dreaming" loudly once you know that you are dreaming. If you really pay attention to your daily life, you see that most of the time we're not aware of what we're doing unless we stop and start being aware. Try to remember what you did yesterday and you'll see it's very murky and doesn't have much detail unless you were aware. It's almost the same during a Lucid Dream, stop and focus on one thing and the world will have more details. Also vitamin B will help you to have more vivid dreams :)
