I just got back from my holiday trips and just had internet access again and my dream jounral is suddenly missing the last 5 entries. everything after dec 8th is gone. What is the story with this? did I miss something that happened? can those entries be restored at all?

Unfortunatly the entries are lost. FOREVER! Try and keep a back up of the dream journal like a phyiscal journal or a file on a disk.
