      Two ludid dreams, terrible recall. Help?

      Last night I had two lucid dreams but quite literally only remember the tail end of each one. I could feel myself awaken and was in SP each time. Judging by the last scene of the dream it would have been a good one. Three Buddhist monks held a jar containing the head of Abraham Lincoln and told me if I look into the glass I'll see the universe.

      Man, severed heads and Buddhist monks. This sucks.

      I assume that I should work on basically telling myself to have good recall before bed?

      Yes, a good idea would be to say to yourself every night, "I will remember my dreams" What helps me is when I wake up, I lay there still with my eyes closed and go back through my dreams to remember them. I usually don't get up until most of the details are recalled. Those two techniques should help.

      It is also highly important that you get enough sleep, keep a dream journal, and do your best to more or less stick to a consistent sleep schedule. Conzo is correct, and those methods are invaluable.

      Yeah, I suspected as much but only now getting back into LDing since an uncle passed away. Since then everything has been a little off balance.


      Also, you both have a small amount of LDs each! I should be helping you instead
