New lucid!! Yay! Oh, wait...

So, last night, I had my third LD. I was experimenting with different "Abilities", such as Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Pausing Time... I can do them all pretty well, except when I teleport I end up in some random place full of objects I've never seen before, and when I use Pyrokinesis, the flames are very small. Then I get to shape-shifting. I forgot who or what I was trying to shape-shift into, but every time I tried it I became Tom Cruise. I hate Tom Cruise. Kept trying other people, (4 or 5 times I can't remember) but no luck. I tried again, this time very hard, and it woke me up. Not sure if it will happen again, but in case it does, any pointers?

Try to switch your thinking a bit, you keep changing into Tom Cruise because because your not holding lucidity very well...now..the way to stop turning into TC, teleporting into a different place, and having a small flame...this can all be fixed very easily...with more simple practice :) and also, the way I seem to have more success in stuff like that is... try to keep reminding your self you are dreaming or I am lucid...for a example...one time i was in a dream and became lucid, and for some reason needed to fly to get over something or into something I cant remember but, I couldnt fly like I usually can, I would burst into the air, and quickly stop and decend back to the ground...its very fustrating..so after a few attemps of finding myself back on the ground...I did another RC and I said to myself firmly...you are lucid, you can do it..you are in control...this is ur world...etc...then I bursted back into the sky like Hancock, and found myself in total control of my flying ability...this can work with your problems...tell ur self ur lucid and ur in control, and you will find your self able to shapeshift into something or someone other than TC, and you will find your teleporting and pryokinesis is better.. :)

once you get better, you will find that things become alot easier, like the other night I found myself in a dream at a bar, and the two bartenders were this two hot girls ( im 21 by the way ) and I guess the reason I had a dream of being at a bar was because a couple nights before the dream I was at one...but anyway something happened and I became lucid...and since lucid dreaming is so natural to me...it seems I dont even have to look for Dream signs anymore...its like something happens and i jus RC ...its weird but anyway im sitting at the bar and i become lucid...and i cuff my hand and magically make a 100 dollar bill appear, and i called over the bartender for a drink, and gave her the 100 as a tip :) knowing in my mind I can spawn another 100 if needed.... I love lucid dreaming :)

Heh...don't tell Maverick, he will kill you...

Yeah, just believe it will work, and also remember that it will come with experience. Also, all dreams are not created equal, and it could've just been an off night. If something fails in a dream, try rationalizing it in a different way. Perhaps say to yourself, "I can throw fireballs with ease, because I just took a magic pill I found on this table," etc. If something doesn't work once, approach it from a different angle, rather than facing it head-on.
