Holy Snap my first lucid dream

I had one lucid dream as a young boy, when I didn't even know there was such a term for knowing you're in a dream. All I did was bang my head against a wall to wake up (bad choice huh). Well I stumbled upon dream views about 2 years ago and got interested in controlling them. I tried for a bit but was too distracted with school and such. Well a few weeks ago my room mates and I started talking about lucid dreams again. Well this morning I was woken up on several instances, a ringing phone, a doorbell. I knew that going back to sleep was a good way to induce a LD. Well sure enough, I found myself realizing I was in a dream and got really excited. I went for the most common thing, attempting to fly. I jumped and too my surprise, I flew to a height of about thirty feet and proceed to fly. I don't remember much more than that but I know one thing, I'll be starting the dream journal and the reality checks very soon.
i have a new love for explosions

      PM me for Questions!

Well that's very good that you had your first (controlled) lucid dream and that you could fly on your first attempt is pretty good. (if you don't mind me asking, I can do a lot of basic things like controlling elements, telekinesis, mind control, controlling time and other things like that but I can't fly so how did you do it?)

I used to have plenty of lucid dreams as a child, but none of them were very fun. They all happened after nightmares. Thank god for Dreamviews, haha. Indeed, having lucid dreams is very exhilarating. And flying is pretty fun. Have fun getting into it.

Ha ha that's funny because for me flying is the easiest thing to do, but for some reason I can never control time! It's so frustrating, but oh well. When I fly it's usually at the very beginning of a lucid, right after the "Ah ha!" moment. I don't really think about it. I just focus on keeping my feet off the ground and it gets me up into the air.

What tricks to you use to control time??

I did it first try, I didn't mean to control it this way but it's what I use now. I made a floating, glowing pause symbol and when I crushed it time paused until a made a play symbol.
