A good night for LD's

Thursday was my day off. So I got up early & did little work around the house. then I crawled back into bed, clicked on the T.V., & eventually drifted back off to sleep.

Then let the lucids begin! I had 5 very vivid, very short (less than 10 minutes) LD's over the next couple of hours. I kept waking up in between each one, but did not get out of bed. I just lied there quietly with my eyes closed 'til I dropped back off again.

I found myself constantly making the effort to stay in the dream. compulsively rubbing my hands, or looking for something to read. Incidentally, I discovered a good method for stability. Go through your keys. (this one's for the house, this ones for the car, etc.) works well. For me anyway.

My trouble was once I got so into the dream that I forget to do these things, I woke up. Am I just concetrating on it to much? Or not enough?

Either way, I'm having loads of fun.

Well, I think if you go explore the dream further and do all the fun stuff you forget to use these methods. My first lucid was like in a park, and at first the dream was kinda fading, so I started looking at my hands, concentrating on things and my dream got clearer. I've only had 2 lucids, but with me they ended when I got so into the dream I forgot the methods and drifted back to no luciddreams or woke up.
