New Instinct?
Okay, so, i've been training for a while, improving my recall and stuff like that. So far, i've had 2 LDs, and in this time, I've begun to notice something strange.
Since having my Lucid Dreams, I've been noticing a new compulsion to sleep. It's a barely noticeable thing, when compared to the rest of the thoughts that I get on a day-to-day basis. But since I've been paying such close attention to my thoughts (I use MILDs) lately, I'm able to notice it.
It's a yearning to sleep that I didn't have before. It hard to describe, but it's stronger than a regular compulsion.
To me, it's like I'm starving, and there's food right in front of me. That's how I feel about sleep now. Before I started trying to have LDs, I didn;t care much about sleep, In fact, I often went without it. Now, the thought of skipping even a few hours of sleep is inconceivable to me.
Does this happen to anyone else? or am I over-thinking things? Is it normal to have these kinds of thoughts?

What you're probably having is not really a yearning for sleep, but for the experience of lucid dreaming. You want to go to bed because you know there's a chance you might become lucid and do whatever you want. I had something like this, I couldn't wait to go to bed, simply because I wanted to experience lucid dreaming again. I think it's a normal feeling, if you're just starting with this. The first 2 LD's I had were pretty good, I was in control of what I did, the first one I already flew. So I was really excited to have more LD's, I still have that feeling now, it's I guess something you have that indicates you can't wait to have a good experience.
Good Luck
