So Starts the Sober Week

If any of you have seen my other post in the 'newbies' section, I decided to put down pot in order to get my dreams back.
Today is day one, and while I'm not really worried about my ability to stick to the plan; I do feel obliged to share this experience with you all... if only for sciences' sake.

I am going to try to keep Dream Recall on my mind all day today; as well as remain regular on these forums... as I am sure it will help.

I would have continued the other post, but seeing as this may last a while... I decided to put one in General.

If it becomes hard for you to stick with it, try to focus on the positives of being off MJ, such as no nervousness accompanied with "hiding" your activities (big one for me), increased mental clarity/apparent intelligence, saving money, and living in the moment. I don't know if this advice is helpful, because I've never had a drug HABIT, but I have found MJ to be not worth it for the most part, mainly for the reasons I had listed. Too much trouble, too little reward. Good luck.

Haha I dabble.

I've always liked the sound of a harmonica, just have never been too good at playing them.

Have you ever seriously tried?

The harmonica is the only non-percussive instrument that I was able to play semi-decently almost instantly (well, as soon as I had a basic understanding of how the notes were laid out). I have tried guitar several times and am absolutely terrible, and all the other instruments I've played either took a lot of practice, or I was just straight up terrible at them.

I love playing the harmonica, but I'm not all that good, and I don't play it as often as I would like... My harmonica is also currently out of tune with some notes, and I have to wait till my birthday to get a set of different scales.

But yeah, it's a great instrument.

yeah dude i quit smoking bud for the sole reason of getting a better dream recall so i could have lucid dreams. ive been sober now for 3 months and have had many lucid dreams. its well worth it my friend.

I've always been good at almost any instrument I pick up; so the fact I couldn't get the harmonica down was a little bit upsetting... although Guitar was a problem for me too.

Thank you, I have been waiting for someone to basically tell me that they had quit, and that it had worked. Now I will have the self-confidence to carry me through xD
