Well the hard core believers in supernatural powers would tell you no, as they are a totally separate being. But some others would tell you your brain makes it and your brain can change it. So pick your poison.
I tried once before, actually. Didn't work out too well.
Possible yes - because their appearance to you in a dream (when you are unaware of the fact that you are dreaming) may only be to get you to become aware.
They could be really a formless entity, but we attach the image to them through our social conditioning. " old wise man, angel, school teacher, family member...etc,etc.
So changing their appearance is possible.
Why would you feel the need to change an appearance of a dream guide?
Most people just ask their DGs to change appearance if they want them to change.

Well, you can't proof wheter its possible or not because if you can, its maybe because it is not your actual DG but just a Dream guide wannabe that sound smart and if you can't its maybe because you are not able to control your dream so well....
I'll personally just keep my DG the same when I meet him/her. It's more natural that way i guess. :)
yea, why change appearance anyway? they should look how they come to you looking. That's what either your brain or some higher power intended.

I'm not sure... I'm not saying I'm getting bored with my dream guides current appearance I just wanted to know if it was possible lol
Lol, you got bored with their appearence...I haven't even met my DG(s) yet. I'm planning on meeting a DG tonight though. I want them to teach me how to fly. XDQuote:

getting bored with someone's appearence? "Oh, yeah, I got bored with my mother's appearence and also with my brother's appearence, and my friend's appearence" lol. But you didn't say you did... Do you simply want to see if you can change someone's appearence or a DG's in specific? I can understand someone would be curious about that. I'd just feel bad about changing their appearence because the next time I'm lucid and want to find him or her, I wouldn't know who to look for and i'd be scared my dream guide lost its identity and just started randomly becoming a different person every time... Whether you believe its supernatural or not, I wouldn't really want to do it. If its your subconsious, why try to change it, why not observe your subconsious in the purest form you can get to. If its something supernatural, then I suppose you could perceive how your brain perceives it, but I wouldn't want to try.
