Dreams where you are not you?

I have lately consistently been having dreams where I am not me in the physical form, but rather some other character ive never seen before.

I only know this because for some reason I go in and out of 3rd person a lot.
The person I see usually fits in with whatever storyline my non lucid dream is making.

Anyone else share similiar experiences?

Yes, I've had many dreams where I am getting visuals as they are described in a book. For example, it will be blank, and a voice will be reading about a dream plot as it is happening, and I will picture the scenes as they are read, rather than witness them in real time. I get dreams like this a couple times a week.
