My first allmost Lucid Dream!

Hi everybody,

I started wondering if I can have lucid dream onceagain.
I had a couple when I was younger and today I took my first steps.

First, i downloaded The_Ultimate_Lucid_Induction.mp3, what i found on this site.
Then I took my first powernap, I listened to it and started thinking about a birthday where I was a couple of days ago and all of a sudden I relaised I was dreaming, but then I got so excited I woke up and something like 15min. had passed.

Then, when I took my second powernap, I had my inearphones on and I felt like I was very tired, I was kind of sucked into the bed, sometimes if I haven't had lots of sleep I feel like that, but today it was way hevyer. My eyes closed very hard and I felt like my body was paralised, it was heavy to move my legs, for example. ( I read that your brain does that )

I felt that I was in REM, my eyes were moving and it felt really strange. I tried to visiolise something and then in front of my eyes there was some light but I could not fall asleep. So I took the earphones off but then the computer
was too noisy and I couldt concentrate anymore.

The feeling was very creepy but I liked it.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Heya. The first 15 min you mentioned in which you had a brief dream was a lucid one based on the way you described it. It was just premature. Your first few lucids may be that way, very short. I haven't had much experience with sleep paralysis. Only twice I had it full body, but it wasn't creepy.
