A Weekend of Lucidity
I've heard about Lucid Dreams before but just started to get really into it. If I use an affirmation to remember my dreams before I go to sleep I can recall 3+ dreams. I was wondering what method of inducing Lucid Dreams are for you, and what the basic concept behind it is. Thank you. :)

Well, I do the MILD technique.
If I use this technique, I can get lucid every other day. (I just started using MILD).
The MILD technique is based on the intention of getting lucid. When your laying in your bed, falling asleep, just keep thinking to yourself, "I will Reality Check, and realize I'm dreaming."
That's my mantra, but you can tweak it yourself, and choose anything you want to say.
I also use DILD, but for me it only happens sometimes.
This method is being aware in your dream, and RCing in your dream to become lucid. You have to really be aware, and hope your RC's during the day will carry on inside your dreams.

Alright. Thank you. =) I still have some experimenting to do considering that I have just recently attempted Lucid Dreaming. =)

Mild Ffs =)
I also use MILD, it made me have 3 lucids in 3 nights in a row. I do 3 rcs/day. But the MILD only works for me if I really belive my mantra "I do a reality check in my dream, and remember to stabilize the dream, and when I wake up I remember the dream", If I don't belive it it don't work. I am going to use MILD until I get ranked Master on the DreamJournal program =)

My lucid dreaming has been poop recently. I need to put more effort into it starting now.
I try to wake up around 5AM. Thats when I get lucid. Usually I can recall 3 dreams at the most, sometime 4 if I am lucky but it gets patchy after that. I use DEILD almost always. I find DILD dreams are pretty weak as far as lucid dreaming goes, whereas WILD and DEILD seem to provide me with more engaging, realistic settings and longer lucidity.
I suggest you do a search on reverse blinking. It helped me a lot.

Thanks Loaf! I did a little reading about it but the concept is still a little patchy to understand.

WILDs are my favorite. They're probably one of the coolest experiences ever.
Of course, I've also found MILD to be quite effective.
Tonight, I'm going to try to go straight into a WILD since I haven't slept in around 36+ hours. The kicker is that I'm gonna use a watered down MILD as part of my WILD. Should be an interesting experiment.
