Odd thing happened in a lucid dream last night - Slideshow

I haven't been on this message board in over a year. Once I was able to LD without keeping a dream journal or doing RCs I wandered away from it. I had an odd LD experience last night however, that I wanted to run by you guys to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

I was in my room and a mattress that wasn't mine fell on my head. I thought my roommates had put the mattress in my room and when I opened my bedroom door to yell at them I saw that the stairs were in the wrong place. I thought, they really shouldn't have moved the stairs. That's a bad place for them to go. Then I thought, they couldn't have moved the stairs. I must be dreaming. At this point the scene disappeared and my vision went dark. Usually when the scene goes dark I would be about to wake up. This time I consciously relaxed my mind and my concentration and just let the darkness flow around me. Instead of waking up my brain started a slideshow. It was really weird. Images started flashing past my eyes. Perhaps 3 per second. They were mostly images of buildings. Eventually the images stopped and I was in a normal lucid dream. Then maybe 5 minutes later I started feeling like the dream was dimming again. Again, I relaxed my mind and body and the slideshow started up again for a minute then I was back in the LD. 10 minutes or so later I woke up.

The buildings in the slideshow weren't familiar. They weren't places I have ever been. BUT I spent a good portion of yesterday looking for a new place to live so I saw a lot of buildings in person and on the internet.

Has anyone else ever had a lucid slideshow?

What an amazing and wonderful experience!!! The human mind is an amazing thing.

I've never had a slide show like you experienced, I have however had jerkyness when spinning or flying to quickly. It's almost as if the brain cannot manufacture and serve up the dream scene to quickly. Kind of like watching a movie on dial-up.

Yeah, it was pretty strange and interesting. It almost felt like my brain was shuffling through images and trying to pick which one it was going to give me. There was a feeling to it like cards being shuffled or a roulette wheel being spun.
