      Horrible Dream I Had

of course you would click on it.
it wasn't horrible in itself, but it was emotionally. and after I read what I wrote I immediately thought it was interesting. Thought I'd humor you and kill the daylight that your waiting for to be through

      1st person:

1st (SUPER SUPER VIVID AND LONG)

My father and I are on the road from Daniel’s old house to the main one. He starts texting while driving and speeds up. We miss traffic but go over the road and crash in the sticker bushes. Instead of our car losing momentum we end up soaring through the bushes, watch us close into a group of trees closing in. I said “Dad I love you but if we hit a tree, you suck!”. I was very forgiving giving the situation.
We land in a grass field filled with sporadic trees. (this is where the dream seems like it could be a product of drugs). We find we are very far from the road (like hundreds of miles) but still in Washington (later explained). We see yeti tracks that go towards the road. Me and my father (unscathed by the crash or landing depending on your view) follow the yeti tracks in hope it leads to civilization.
We view a map (just in my head) and see that we are close to a town. On the map it was a red circle with a big white 6 on it. In my mind it was just a gas station. We get to the spot, and find that it is hundreds of feet below on the cliff. I’m afraid of heights so we decide to go around. On the map we find that we have to circle the rocky mountains and go down through Okanogan heights to get back to my hometown off Seattle. A ridiculas trek

We end up walking through a neighborhood titled Aspenwood (a real neighborhood that we did some house hunting in) But the houses were tiny. We walked (though it seemed we were driving) through the neighborhood of small houses (about 50 sq ft) that are designed of off colorful mushrooms. Others were designed of cabins. Eventually we passed through this Indian log cabin but inside we looted the fireplace area for weapons. I already had my small orange screw drive (metal part about 2.5 inches and handle is clear) and I also picked up a broken poker for firewood as a weapon. I tried to fit in my pocket. It wouldn’t fit because it had a wooden carved handle looking like a deer which doesn’t makes sense because wood burns, and saw a new scene.
The new scene was a neighborhood that was abandoned and looted ( I had already by this time inferred the apocalypse had occurred with natural disasters everywhere). WE crouched be a bush and some chopped firewood by the edge of the road. It was a ul-de-sac. There was one black escalade driving around. It was playing gangster music loudly. My dad said to be quiet and let them pass.
The gangsters got out and began to survey their surroundings. I was sure they were hostile. As soon as I was I noticed a pair of young (15-17) eyes looking through a hole in the firewood stack. He was observing us. I took out my screwdriver and raced over to him and stuck it into his open neck. I knew I killed him. The other two gangsters chased after us. I ran back through the cabin and lost my dad. I thought he was hurt. As I turned the scene had already changed from happy mushroom land.
I was in a white tarp tent area (like a workshop extension for cars). I waited for the first gangster to come in and sat right next to the exit to catch him blindsided. He turned out to be some forty year old father. I still believed he was hostile and I stabbed the screwdriver into the middle of his collarbone. There was tons of blood. I pushed him aside and waited for the next “gangster”. As I waited the other guy laid on the floor gasping for breathe. When the other guy came (young late twenties). I stuck screwdriver into his left eye socket. There was even more blood. But he didn’t die. He started fighting back.
I somehow propped myself against the tent and began kicking his face slowly as he began to bleed out. It was something out of a Borne movie-only much worse because he said “Why are you doing this?” and THEN I realized they weren’t hostile, but a family
Looking for the youngest 8 year old daughter. The younger get died and slumped to the floor. The older guy, still gasping for breath as his lungs filled with blood and would eventually drown him told me what they were doing. I felt bad. I later learned that my dead had laid down in ferns and they ran past him after me.

I woke up feeling horrible but happy and the length and ?vividity? of the dream.
NOTE: when I’m bored and trying to sleep I like thinking about the end of the world and how I would try to survive extreme conditions with my family and resources. So I was not at all surprised by this dream.

      Yeah, those dreams SUCK!!!!

I had one where I was walking in the backyard in the dark and I stepped on something sort of squishy that turned out to be somebody in a sleeping bag. I felt ribs crack and I knew I had fatally wounded them, and they were in horrible pain... gasping and crying etc. My first thought was that I would be in bad trouble, and since he was dying I ought to finish him off quickly rather than let him slowly die in agony, so I stomped on his chest as hard as I could. He said something like "Stop it! Why are you doing this to me??!!"

Which made me feel even worse, but I figured now he was surely fatally wounded, plus if he lived he'd get me on attempted murder, so I jumped up and down on him a few times. The bastard never did die! I woke up feeling like shit! And it made me wonder if I had some kind of homicidal tendencies or something LOL!
