HH, HI....it's all good it's all normal....check this out link
This is not HI, this is actually called a phosphene. Basically what's happening is that, instead of light passing into your eye and stimulating the visual system, you are using mechanical pressure (the pushing of your fingers) to do this- it's seeing 'light' in the absence of there actually being light by using pressure instead.
You can have a little fun with this. To see it easily, push gently on the outer edge of your eye. DO NOT ACTUALLY PUSH THE EYE ITSELF, but place your finger where the upper and lower lids come together. You'll see a circle appear in the opposite corner by your nose :) You can get this to happen by pushing anywhere on the periphery of your eye. There are a bunch of different ways to get this to happen. It's not really related to lucid dreaming, except that it's perception in the absence of the usual sensation.
Somtimes they stay there after i push it. It could be used to induce a lucid dream?
No.
I rebember doing this when I was like 7 years old, I thought that if I did I activated some kind of comunications link enableing me to talk with aliens. It was some wierd alternative to praying I used as a kid. :)
this is off-topic I know but I had forgotten about it and just had to mention it.
This is actually kind of helpful to me at the moment. Would it cause eye damage if you slept with your top part of the face in the pillow while you had your mouth in the open so you could breath?
Just..... just leave your eyes alone. Seriously, pretend you've never heard of this.
