So I was asking myself this during class today and then saw a thread about some guy asking for an interpretation; his dream was in a hospital.
So if you want to do a reality check in hospital, won't you be kinda screwed? If you're not dreaming, the doctors won't let you move if you're bound and/or injured serious. If you're dreaming, they still won't let you move..
My only thought would be the nose-in-one-eye RC, but in a state of panic like that you won't remember probably.
You don't need physical stimuli to reality check. Physical means should only be used as RC enhancements. A proper RC involves taking in your surroundings, awareness, and analysis. Knowing everything thats going on, seeing everything, watching for changes or things that don't make sense and then building a conclusion.
Physical RCs allow for this by having an "On Demand" means of achieving this. If your finger goes through your palm, you have all the information you need to build a conclusion. Try mental RCs rather than physical, and if you master that you'll be guaranteed more success.
I agree. Mental RC's have helped me a lot more than physical ones. I don't even really do physical ones except maybe as a "one last thing" check after I have almost come to my conclusion to whether or not i'm dreaming.Quote:
