Does anybody else?
Whenever I have a lucid dream I seem to black out after two to five minutes. I then just see black all around but am still obviously dreaming because I don't feel my body. I then can try and concentrate and imagine to create a landscape around me. At first I was bad at it, but now I can put myself back into a dream for another two or three minutes. Is this normal? Because I would rather just stay in my dream environment than have to leave and reenter. It also makes remembering the part before blacking out a bit harder.

I think a lot of people have this "void". I have in my first two LD's, and I just waited for something to happen. It's common.

Hmm, I never heard of this before.. But my first thought when i read this was that it was your subconscion messing with you to lose lucidness... But i dont know. Hope you find an answer!

Do you think this blackness is just the feeling of waking up? Then you catch yourself and go back into the dream? Or is a deeper blackness, still fully in the dream?
-
I feel like when I go black I feel more aware than when I'm still in the dream, so I may be partially waking.

Ohhh man, the darkness is very common. I happen very often and I do the same as you, I imagine I'm looking at something and I focus in that, then I turn back the dream. I don't know why it happens but .. happens haha.
greetings!
