Connection maybe?

ok, about a week back I had an interesting dream where there was a girl I barely knew about 10 years back, and she was my new gf. It had to be her because she was the first person I thought of when I woke up, and I haven't thought about her in 10+ years, especially since she was more of an acquaintance than a friend. Now, because of this dream, I can't get her out of my head wondering why her (plus being out of work and school hasn't started yet, I have too much time on my hands to dwell on stuff lol :)) so I told someone about this and they are saying I should contact them because maybe they had the same dream or were thinking about me too. do you guys think this is plausable or is my friend wrong?

Yeah, your friend is wrong. Chances of your friend dreaming about you if you haven't seen each other in so long are already slim enough (unless she is obsessed with you). Now the chances of her having the same dream as you are just way too low.

I don't think dreaming about someone you haven't thought about or dreamt about for years would be a connection to them, sorry to say. You could try contacting them, but they're just going to think you're crazy for calling out of the blue to ask if she had a particular dream. :P

In other words, I advise the same as everyone else in the thread thus far - it'd be best not to look too deep into the possibility of her having a similar or any kind of significant dream, and not to contact her just based on the dream.
