In all my dreams whether lucid or not, i don't think i have ever blinked in any kind of dream. Has anyone elese ever blinked in a lucid or non-lucid?

In all my dreams whether lucid or not, i don't think i have ever blinked in any kind of dream. Has anyone elese ever blinked in a lucid or non-lucid?

I dont think that I have ever blinked either. And maybe I have but because I do it so much while I am awake I dont notice when I am asleep. On the other hand I dont think it would be at all necessary to blink so I dont see why our minds would put it in for us.
But of course now that I am thinking about it I will probably blink tonight, just cause my mind likes to catch me off gaurd :)
I only blink in a dream if I conciously decide to close my eyes. But out of all the things you can do or work on I wouldn't add blinking as a priority.
I can't say I ever recall blinking. But then again, the view in my dream is like a shoulder cam type thing, so I'm not really looking through my eyes.
Yeah you guys are right about blinking not being a priority, and hey, blinking might wake some people up and ruin a good lucid.
hmmm..gonna have to find this out...

Yeah, I can't close my eyes in a lucid at all or I wake up - or fa. Ruined so many good ones :(Quote:

I blinked in a non-lucid dream last night
I was looking in the mirror and I remember seeing myself blink
I feel the need to add that this dream was a "false awakening"
Where I got out of bed went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and whatnot,
as if I was getting ready for school
I recall blinking normally a few times, usually during the calmest and most concious cases of lucid dreaming where everything felt realer than reality (quite rare).
I didn't feel like I needed to blink, just did it out of habit, and I was thinking about it a little bit which probably caused me to do it.
Usually, however, I don't think about it so can't be sure if I do it. I do sometimes close my eyes, but blinking, not sure.
There are a lot of everyday things I don't recall doing in dreams:
Blinking is one and I don't think I've ever answered the call of nature either =\
I'm multilingual so it takes effort for me to recall what language I speak in certain dreams.
