VILD and Reverse Blinking

Hey I tried having a nap this afternoon. Put in some ear plugs and started reverse blinking and then anchoring myself a few times, got nice and relaxed and then started visualising standing outside my house and then slowly running around the outside of the house. Within about 5mins or less maby, my body got very stiff as it has when iv tried WILDing and also my thumb and index finger on both hands started twitching. Is this the start of the vibrations? I noticed I got some quite strong HI (waves of coulour sweeping over my eyes) so stoped visualizing and relaxed on the HI but it slowly dissapeared. Any thoughts???

I'm pretty much just as new to this as you, Ferret (began yesterday) - but this is similar to what I experienced today, attempting a WILD. Began with isolated twitching in my feet, and sometimes hands...then a sort of vision with my best mate on a beanbag using his xbox...nearly lost it there but snapped myself back into consciousness...I heard myself saying "I'd love to"...then a young boy's voice calling my father's name, then mine...:shock:

THEN a few minutes later waves of a sort of steady, calm vibration. Similar to the twitching but instead, all over. I was completely conscious for that.

And I stopped it there, after about 10 seconds of it. I'm in no rush lol. But heck it was wierd.

Yes very wierd! You should keep calm and keep at it, no harm in going all the way if you can :) im about to go to bed now and will try some mantras, some reverse blinking to get me sleepy and then visualisations. Might wake up in the middle of the night for a wild know knows. Wish me luck!

What is reverse blinking? Or should I just shut up and search the site? :lol:

Haha yes you should!!! Nah reverse blinking is when you keep your eyes closed and open them for a fraction of a second then close them again, pretty much like blinking in reverse. Helps you get very sleepy very fast I find, hasnt got me past that though but i hear others can become lucid from it.

Cool... thanks Ferret!! Funny thing... I had just searched the site, wasn't having any luck, so I Googled, and it led me to a thread here which explained it. I was coming in here to post the explanation, and there you were!!! Need to try that one.
