Dreams start straight away, advice needed please!. Read.

      Hey everyone!.

I, in the past 2 months have gotten into Lucid Dreaming and lately, whenever I laydown to rest I sometimes straight away start to form a dream in my head (accidentally, the dream just comes), I am aware that I'm still awake and this little dream is going on, I can hear and see these things in my dream clearly but my body isn't in SP. Also, I wanted to add, I'm not imaging this like day dreaming, it comes on it's on and plays out in my head without my control which confuses me since it only started in the past week.

I have tried a few times to become lucid but I don't think I'm asleep enough or whatever for it to happen though I do have a small amount of control over a character that is in my dreamm normally the main DC or sometimes when I realize I am dreaming and try to become lucid, the dream stops or I will loose control of the character.

My question is, could I enter Lucidity this way?. Also, how could I better get myself in this dream?. What should I do?.

I experience about the same thing. But mine doesn't start right away, it usually starts after a minute or so. And yes, from my personal experience, you can enter into a dream through it, and it can be lucid. I have done this, and I have tried to choose a dream many times, but it is very hard and worked only 3 times. But yes, you have to try to sustain that moving image. Slowly, it will get vivider and you will feel like your more in it, until you will be fully in your dream, totally aware, and in control. But for me at least, it is pretty hard to sustain the image, because some images make flashes, or quick movements, which usually scares me and my whole body jerks and I wake up. But it is possible, you just have to try.

I have this same "gift". For me however it started happening after I enjoyed the uberman sleep cycle for 3.5 months last fall. Now, whenever I close my eyes to sleep I begin dreaming or slightly dreaming and my mind is asleep within a minute or two at most, i dont even get to finish my sleeping track that is 3 minutes long before I lose conciousness and start dreaming. This is nice however it can cause difficulty with entering a lucid dream because my body is not in sp yet but my mind is falling asleep. It can be used to enter an LD given the right circumstances, it's just difficult.
