I am running a fresh poll to see if anyone has killed someone in a dream, but with a twist! Did you enjoy it?

Feel free to justify your reason. Did you kill Hitler in a dream? Did you beat up the guy who mugged you last week in a dream? Do you just enjoy a bit of violence, as if you are playing a video game and DCs are NPCs?

Yep, I've killed a few with joy as well. Mainly the joy was from pulling off super-awesome moves to do it, though :cheeky: I never just walked up to some random DC and killed him; there was always a good reason for the DC to die.
Nah, never killed in a dream. I want to though. But....I'm not sure how I'll feel, I'm not a praticularly violent person. The only thing violent I ever did was slap someone. Really, he deserved a kick in the nads.
If someone I hate then yes. If someone close to me then no.
No killing for me.

I have pinned a DC down with bubble gum down before because he wanted to shoot me, and also I raised a fat dude that was a burgular, who then turned into my dad.
For me, I prefer other alternatives if I MUST do something, and wouldn't do it if I had the choice.
Millions? And enjoyed it... I just dislike the way humans behave in dreams, so taking them down is quite a pleasure, saves so much other life and solves so many problems <.<

some people think that killing a DC is like killing part of yourself. i dont know what i think about that, but it cant hurt to be nice to your dcs!
Yes, and it was awesome. Mainly because I pulled off some incredibly cool moves while doing it, and they started it. Lucid or not.
I've exploded a few people's heads. Did I enjoy it? No. Did I dislike it? No. I felt pretty neutral about the whole thing.
I haven't had my first LD yet, but when I do I will kill many people, and enjoy it.
I was killing Helghasts..... and some soldier dudes..... I don't feel anything though, they feel like NPCs to me
I came across Hitler one time and threw a marble bust at him. Unfortunately I wasn't lucid and was only able to do so because I was wearing the iron man suit. I gave Voldemort a good go in a lucid once. It was sweeeet.

I have before. It was a non-lucid. I was in a mech walking around in a rock quarry. I was just randomly blowing people's heads off. It was both fun and disturbing at the same time.
No I have not killed a DC nor do I have the desire. I would not kill a DC unless I had no other choice and was being attacked. But since I typically respect my DCs and my subconscious, I don't get random DCs attacking me or wanting me to fight, so I doubt that will be an issue. Imho I think people should treat their DCs with more respect, but to each his own.
I have had to kill many times :split: in the dream state to protect myself, someone I care about, the innocent, or those who cannot defend themselves...:sniper: I must like doing it to some degree since I continue to seek out these situations and usually feel energized after the fight is done :twisted: (I'm a dream adrenaline junkie? :? )... but I avoid attacking anyone unprovoked, and the times I have ended up doing that for whatever reason have left me feeling quite rotten and very negative. :sad2:

The reasons I kill DCs...
- Extremely pissed in waking life.
- Bored and wanting to practice something. (Eg. Super Strength, Telekinesis etc.)
-They attack me (Then I make them stronger for a challenge :panic: )
- People I hate, Usually Nazis.
- If I'm in a EPIC "Boss" fight.
- Or if it just plays along with the Dream :cheeky:
- If I have to (Eg. To protect someone/Myself, another creature, The land)
I don't know why, but if land gets destroyed in my dreams I just sort of look at it and feel really bad because I could not help. :(
Thats about the only reasons I have encountered so far to kill them, probably the only reasons as well.

Yeah, and it was a blast. :cheeky: I'd do it again, too! And again, and again, and again...way I see it, it's better to go postal on Dream Land than in reality. So, if the rivers run red with blood, the way I see it, is that all your stress just went running down the creek.
I think this might have been my first LD after I joined DV... but this DC had tried to kill me (which is what made me go lucid), so I used my lucidity to charge up to the bastard in an attempt to take him out. I totally would have killed him if I hadn't of woken up (I chained back into the dream, even, and he was gone).
Killed? Yes. Liked it? No.
It was like I was possessed up to the point of doing the killing, thinking it was totally the normal thing to do. Then immediately after the feeling was like "NOOOOOO WHAT HAVE I DONE?!"
Then the guilt happens. Oh, to add, the few times it occurred there was no reason why I killed. None whatsoever. I just did it for the sake of it.
Never happened much though, only ever in dreams were I didn't know I was dreaming.
I only kill DCs when they oppose my will. I usually just talk to them, but if they become too much of a burden I take them out.
I used to have a continuing series of dreams where o was a modern day vigilante and used my ninjutsu skills to take down crooks and criminals, had a whole secret hideout and everything. I loved those dreams, I will admit that my blade had a taste for the cruel and the evil. I enjoyed being the "Night Angel" that served justice to the evil ones who escaped it in regular authority. I would kill 1 person in some dreams, and then in others i would take down an entire gang or group. I have never killed for the release of stress or anger. That opens paths that are as dark as the abyss in ones soul. I truly enjoy the hunt.

Since this is in general Lucid discussion rather than general dream discussion, I'm assuming you are asking about Lucid Dreams.
I don't recall ever killing anyone in a Lucid. I don't generally feel the need to. I find it to be more fun letting attacking DC's try to kill me. But sometimes I'll use telekinesis to send them flying away.
Last summer I had a Lucid where I landed on the roof of a skyscraper. There was a DC there and I randomly pushed him off the roof. As he fell screaming to his death I suddenly felt terrible about what I had just done. So I used telekinesis to catch him before he hit the ground, then levitated him back to the roof.
But as far as non Lucids go. Yes, I have killed. And a few times felt good about it. Then woke up feeling a little disturbed about feeling good about it.
I've never killed anyone, but I killed my self which I found very nice experience. I'll kill someone and then myself as soon as I get chance :D

I don't have plans on killing anyone. I'd like to smack some DC's around in a slapstick manner though (Three Stooges style slapping, banana peels, Anvils ETC.)
I've killed twice in self defence and twice just to see what it would feel like. Gotta say I felt pretty detached each time. Found it kind of entertaining in a neither good nor bad kind of way.
I attack people a lot, but I only killed someone once or twice (in an Lucid dream of course).
Sometimes it can be very fun acting out on my animal rage, or for the thrill that you can never do this in real life. However with the endless opportunities and limited time I would recommend doing something more positive.
for me its just hard to see the attraction of killing a DC. its much more fun and challenging to get them to do something funny or to be their friend.
Morbid entertainment. Being drunk with power. Those are just two reasons I can think of. :cackle:

I've killed plenty in lucid dreams and in many ways and I find it to be pretty fun at times and can really enjoy it. I've only killed one person intentionaly in a non lucid dream tho and after I did I felt really bad about it, even after waking up.
