Dream chaining?
could anyone tell me what the term means? and IF they had the time to tell me if this is what dream chaining is?
1st person:
I’m in a forest with a man similar to the mulan guy. We travel through the forest. Out of the forest we come into unfamiliar street roads. There we travel looking for a way back home. Then we turn around and see a ret oil truck crash, and a bomb goes off.
Just before the bomb went off Anthony told me to get down. I dive into the ditch on the other side of the corner. Nobody else was so lucky. A few others got in the ditch parallel to the direction of the blast.
After the blast I crawled out of the ditch with a ringing in my ears and fuzzy vision. I cross the street to my old theatre stage, only its outside. There people are trying to leave the nuclear bomb blast to the other side, maybe another dream. Anthony keeps going, and gets on the stage before me. He is hurt real bad, only there is no blood. I go back for my friend SMkR and ask him if he will make it. he said no. I followed Anthony through the door onto of the stage
The door leads through into a maze. The maze is in the matted gym room. There are doors leading away from the room with masses of people everywhere. My sister leaves toward a door. A doctor comes out on the other side. I yell to get out and exit the room (with glass, so you could see from the other side) just in time before the doors lock. I get the ever changing man behind me to come along. The people (maybe 10 including my sister) are gassed.
I get out of the maze by hopping over the wall. There I meet Joe. We are in a maze of gymnastics like mats and objects. After nearly being killed we exit the maze. We find ourselves (me and the mystery man) in a field, a (Howl’s moving castle kind of) field. There were dragons in the sky.
There we travel to the beach. Where in the distance we see ancient Chinese battleships firing the first fireball cannons (from avatar, the SHOW). There merchants come to our hut and sell us (mangoes???). They were delicious. My sister was there again. The sky was beautiful.
thanks.

Dream Chaining is when you go from waking up directly back into a dream. As far as I can tell your dream wasn't it. An example might be this:
Bobby runs over me with the tractor and I wake back up. Not wanting the dream to end there, I close my eyes and fall back into the dream. Instead of being in the dream I was before, now I'm walking through the world of pandora.
If you'd like to read more about it, a tutorial can be found here.

Yeah rose_red has got it. Using the DEILD technique to chain dreams together is most likely what you are talking about. I have actually chained up to 5 lucid dreams back-to back. It works well and is one of the easiest lucid dreaming techniques (imho). Of course, you still have to become lucid on your own for the first LD in the chain :cheeky:.
