      Have you ever visited Narnia?

The Chronicles of Narnia are by far my favorite fantasy book series, and I re-watched the film version again tonight. Every time I see it, I get that nice fantastic feeling that wisps you away from reality.

Anyhow, I thought, how cool would it be to go here in a dream?

Has anybody done it before? And, if so, in the words of professor Kirk,

Naw, I want to go some of the more substantial fantasy worlds like Middle Earth, Wheel of Time, or the Forgotten Realms world.

I also don't think that the movie did the book justice.

Narnia would be pretty sweet but being a Star Wars fan I sometimes find myself in lightsaber battles lol. I think a really sweet dream environment though would be a setting that incorporates elements from Alice in Wonderland. I'd love to talk to the Cheshire Cat lol.

This would be an intresting way to passively slow down dream time. Because of how time works in narnia. I'll try just so I can make my LDs seem like hours but only be minutes.

The idea of going into the world of a novel in a LD never occurred to me, but now that I have heard of it, it sure sounds like a great idea. Now, I really wonder what India looked like at the time the great epics were written. I sure would like to see that in a lucid dream.

Wow Narnia would be an awesome place to visit during a LD. Wonder why I never thought of it before??? I will definately give this a shot in the near future. It should an easy enough place to get to as well. Just enter the wardrobe!

I've never visited while lucid, but I used to have Narnia dreams when I was a little kid.

They are actually some of the earliest dreams I remember. I used to walk over to my closet door and open it to find a forest covered in snow. I'd always get really excited and happy. I'd wake up and go to my closet and become thoroughly disappointed.

Yeah that would be really cool to enter Narnia through the wardrobe in your own room!

I'll try to remember that for future use, visiting Narnia sounds like a lot of fun (as long as I can accurately recreate the landscape).

I think that would be the most awesome thing. Especially to grow up in Narnia, but then wake up feeling as if ages had gone by.

I havent but ive visited others, it would be easy to to if yu stabilize the dream and concentrate hard before walking into a wardrobe, the trick is expecting and if it fails try again you will eventually sooner rather than later make it there.

My girlfriend just started reading me the first book of Narnia, and I didn't expect it to be this intriguing! I might just go visit it in a lucid sometime, though to be honest I think the worlds I can create in lucids will excite me more than visiting a world of someone else' creation.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Hm, I should try this. I've never managed to go to another world in a dream. I always try to teleport there and my subconscious overloads and I wake up. However, since one gets to Narnia through a wardrobe, this should be possible.
