Learning through lucid dreaming?

I know it sounds weird, but is it possible to learn things through lucid dreaming? Like if you have a certain amount of knowledge on something, can you more or less practice it in your dreams and learn from it in real life? The reason I ask is a long time ago I had a dream where I was singing along with OTEP in my truck. OTEP for those of you who dont know is a band that has a female vocalist (I am male) but she growls and screams her lyrics and actually sounds more wicked than most men do. The music was loud, but I could still hear my voice, and I have been taught before the dream the proper ways of screaming for heavy metal music.

In real life I have never been able to do it though, dont know why. But in the dream I was trying to scream along to it, and was messing up like in real life. Then I said to myself "relax the throat, fill your lungs full of air, push with your stomach and adjust the pitch with your throat" and then I did it in the dream and was able to scream along almost exactly the way she was. Then the next morning I woke up, got in my truck to go to work and started screaming along with her and it was like I remembered how to do it from my dream and I was able to do it in real life. But that has never happened again.

The only other time something similar like that happened was when I was real sore from powerlifting, and I just wished that I had like a sauna or a hot tub available to me. I went to sleep later on and then in my dream I was in a bath tub in the middle of an open field with mountains all around me, the air smelled very fresh, the wind felt great on my face, and the water was very hot and relaxing. The dream seemed to go on forever, I even had a drink in the dream and could actually taste it. Then a cow came along and started telling me to just sit back and relax and let the pain go away. That freaked me out but I didnt wake up from it. When I finally did wake up, I wasnt sore at all, I felt great and seriously felt like I fully healed overnight. Again, however I never had that dream again, even when I really wanted it.

So is it possible to learn or be effected physically from a lucid or vivid dream? Again Ive never had a lucid dream, but all of them are very vivid. If so or if its a maybe or depends on you kind of thing, how would I go about making myself have those dreams when I want them?
