And I mean, so that you pick the subject of it. I haven't dreamed in a couple years, and it's getting really boring. I want my sleep nights to be fun. Anyway, so is there a way to make yourself dream a lucid dream? Or any other type of dream?

You dream every night, you're just not remembering your dreams.
You should wait until some more experienced people say something about this, but until then, try my advice
Set you clock to ring in the middle of the night, that way you will wake up when your dreams are still 'fresh'. Or you could look up on the stages of sleep and try to time your alarm to the different stages of sleep.
Or you could try to take B6 (I don't know anything about B6, besides that it helps some people to have more vivid dreams). You could also try to drink mint tea.
Oh, about the B6, look it up before you decide to use it :)
Good Luck! I know how booring it is not to remember your dreams
have you been sleeping 8 hours a day or are you having stress, these things can stop dream recall, my advice to you is go to a place called bird's lucid dreaming website and find a method called the Wake Back To Bed method (or something like that).
FWIW, WBTB... don't you love acronyms? Let me start again.
For what it's worth, the "Wake -- Back To Bed" method seems to be working very well for me, when I have enough time to do it right. I get up after about 5-6 hours of sleep, have a cigarette (no, I'm not advocating smoking, it's just something to pass the time and relax me), have a chocolate bar and a soft drink (preferably something with caffeine), and another smoke. During this time I'm usually reading DreamViews or IMing with one or more members. I usually am up between 30-45 minutes.
Then I go back to bed. I usually do the muscle relaxing thing where you tense every muscle in your body for a few seconds, then relax. Then I start repeating to myself something like "I am lucid, I am in control of my dream". I find that saying "I am" seems to be more helpful than "I will be" -- it doesn't leave any "wiggle room" in my mind.
Then if I am able to fall asleep, I usually become lucid immediately upon entering my dream. Sometimes I begin the dream in a non-lucid state but at some point I just seem to get a feeling that I'm in a dream, and as soon as I have that awareness, I try flying -- which is about the only thing that I know I can consistently do in my dreams.
Now I'm not saying this works every time, but I've had two long LDs just this week using this method, and a number of others over the past few months -- again, when I've had the time to do it right, and haven't gotten disturbed by dogs, wife, phone, etc...
Here's a method that I tried that hasn't worked for me so far - but I think it may at some point. It is similar to what ronso suggests. You will need an iPod or other audio playing device that you can record a custom audio piece to.
What I did was record myself saying something like "Check for the lucid dream, are you dreaming?....". I fancy'd it up in a sound editing program. I added reverb, echo, and some soft deep horn sound - but that's optional. I then put it on my iPod.
I set the iPod alarm to play my message 3 times at some point in the night. The important thing is to set the volume really LOW - you DON'T want to wake yourself up. You just want your message to reach you in your dream (hopefuly you're in one at that time) and remind you to make a reality check.
I've tried it for only a few nights and unfortunately kept getting the message after I was already somewhat awake. I haven't tried it since I recently had an LD without it.
Hopefuly this could work for someone, though.
I'll try that, I have a CD player, (I might also get an ipod) :DQuote:

b6 has helped some, not sure if its helped me. 100mg is safe, 200 i recall u can get reliant on, dont exceed over 1000mg a day which can cause brain damage. it also makes mroe red blood cells :D. check out the pharmacy topic in tutorials section i believe.
I've tried B6 -- can't tell that it's done a thing for me.
This is a very broad subject and you ask this as if you did not read anything that was on the front page and you just jumped on in. The quickest way towards lucidity is hypnosis and their are alot that you can download off of simple kazaa or limewire like "Brainwave Experiment" or by simply typing in "lucid dreams".Listen to them before you go to sleep and you'll be luciditing in no time.
I've eaten bananas (they have b6 in them dont they?) before I went to bed and its helped a little.
