Lucidity during hypnogagia: A good start?

Hey guys I was trying to do some WILD last night. I managed to retain a rudimentary lucidity during hypnogagia. I was able to figure out what was real and what was not real based on my knowledge of the *current* world around me. For instance, I was at work putting away our plastic containers of tags, I automatically realized "this is fake: we don't use the containers anymore, we put them in drawers.", etc etc. In another part I smashed ice in someone's face, and I realized "this is fake: I would not have smashed ice in that person's face."

Is this a good start? After I fell asleep though I was on autopilot.

I don't really know much about the hypnogagia thing, but I suppose you were in SP state (right?), if you would have stayed conscious while you entered sleep, you could have visualized a dream scene and just stepped into it.

(correct me if I'm wrong)

So yeah, I'd say it's a good start :P
