I apologize in advance if there's a similar thread like this.
I think everyone on this forum has some pet peeve about lucid dreaming. For me, it's the fact that even though it's a hobby, no one can see what you're doing regarding that hobby. It's all in your head. :(
What do you NOT like, or find most annoying, about lucid dreaming? It could be anything.
I find reality checks the most annoying, because they have a 100% fail rate for me when I'm lucid. Then, I spend the rest of the LD thinking I'm awake and losing my marbles.
Even though my RCs fail in an LD, I'm sometimes wandering around with the impression that 'I still might be awake'.Quote:

. . . Actually, yeah. I hate that they end. It especially sucks when I don't get to do my goals.

It would be nice if they were easier to acheive, but I certainly wouldn't say I hate that about them. If it was easy, well then that would just take all the fun out of it.
i hate that i can't have them whenever i want... and that i miss going lucid when i have so many dreamsigns!
I hate that I can't show them to other people! A while ago I heard about a machine that can put together a (very rudimentary) video based on brain activity, but it's a loooong way off being able to record dreams. Still, one day, I hope!
I hate that I've only ever been able to willfully initiate a LD twice...through WILD. Every other time I try, I usually get to the stage where my body becomes numb, but doesn't quite reach SP. On my most recent attempt, I got to the point where the floaty, tingly feelings of SP started to wash over me but then went away. Tried a second time, got to the same point, and it went away again.
So, I pretty much fail at WILD. Seems my only solid methods are DILDs and DEILDs...and even those happen at complete random.
It peeves me greatly that I cannot share the images of even a fraction of my lucid experiences.
As strange as it is for me to say now, I also am annoyed that they have become so long, as it is more difficult to put them into words anymore.
This is my biggest hate at the moment. I've only had one short LD and that was a year ago. I've been practicing during the day and have had LD on my mind for the last 2 weeks or so but no dice yet, although, I am getting close :)Quote:
