      Unhappy Short dreaming time.

      Hello DreamViews Members and staff!

      I have had ALOT of dreams since i have not been here, all of them are really short!! Every dream were good and almost my best dream i ever had, like meeting a fantasy creature, a dragon for example, and when i (THIS HAS NOT OCURED, ITS JUST AN EXAMPLE) speek to the dragon, the dream stops there and i wake up!

      I alredy know that it can be because of exitement or dont remember after the conversation but seriousley, it has happened of the rest of my worthy dreams!

      Please, please give me a suggestion of what i can do to dream a longer time!

      Are you talking about lucid dreams or normal dreams ?
      if your talking about lucids then you should do some stabalization techniques like rub your hands together, and explore the senses in the dream.
      If it's a normal dream then it's hard to extend them further.

      I have this problem too.

      It seems to happen especially whenever I start flying. I usually fly for a few seconds and then all the visuals seem to go. I've tried rubbing my hands or spinning around, but the visuals just never come back it seems. Last lucid I remember I was flying around on a bike like in ET, and my vision started to fade. I tried to spin around in the air on the bike, which was fun, but it didn't seem to do anything to slow down the fading. Within about 10 seconds the dream was completely over.
      To do list:
      Have an LD(without waking up immediately) [x]; LD for more than 30 seconds[x]; LD for more than 2 minutes[x]
      WILD [ ]; DILD [7(ish)]; Fly [x];
      Practice a skill so that I will be better at it in real life [ ];
      Create world peace using a harmonica [ ];
      Solve a real life problem [ ]; Turn the world into a nudist colony [ ]

      If this is true of both your normal and lucid dreams, maybe you are just not remembering your whole dream. Maybe you only remember the end of the dream. It is often easiest to remember the last few seconds of a dream. It is also often easiest to become lucid during those last seconds. Maybe it has something to do with how our brains are turning back on as we wake up. Try working on your dream recall with tricks like these:

      Hopefully, you can make your dreams more vivid and last longer. You can also try something like Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dreaming (DEILD):

      There was a thread awhile back about how drinking apple juice before bed gives you more vivid dreams. It didn't work for me personally when I tried it, but a lot of people reported having success, and it couldn't hurt to try.
