      I just had a thought.

I've had dreams multiple times. A few months ago, I had a dream for about the 5th time, and realized I had done this before, tried to do impossible things because they had worked before, all without realizing I was dreaming. I jumped off second story windows, used my mind to cause explosions, and all the other standard LD stuff without making the connection I was dreaming. I just knew I had done this before. Thinking back now, in almost all of my repeated dreams, I knew this had happened before, without becoming lucid.

Has this happened to anybody else?
      I'm back!

It's happened to me a load of times before. Sometimes you do crazy things without noticing it until after you wake up.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yea, this is common. I often use telekinesis in my dreams as if its normal. You would think that you would realize this was dream stuff, but sometimes it just makes sense in your head so you don't question it.

      best of luck.

I'd love to have a recurring dream, and I've heard a lot about them, but I have never had a dream more than once that I can recall.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

So you don't mind if your recurring dream was a nightmare ?

If I had a recurring dream, especially if it was a nightmare, it might hold some special significance. Now that I have been into lucid dreaming and have been attempting it for, what now, three months, I would be able to have a chance to learn about that nightmare, asking whoever/whatever is in it why I'm being terrorized in whatever manner is occuring.

It would be an interesting experience to have a recurring nightmare, so I can't say that I would really mind it all that much if I had one.
