I Found This Weird
Well after having my first "Real" LD last night i realized how much i didn't remember my goals, well didn't think of them, i was more like "Oh cool I'm dreaming" and then tried to learn the basics instead of going straight out and trying to do my goals, e.g i have 1 goal to kill someone in my dreams, i didn't even think of doing this at the time! Could this have been from excitement?
Has anyone else who has had a "few" LDs found this out to? or was it just me?

It happens at times. Sometimes when you're lucid you just don't think of your lucid goals, but if you ask me, that's actually a good thing. If the only ideas we got to do stuff in our lucid dreams came from our waking lives, then what about being whipped into lucid dream situations we don't predict or construct prior? It's cool to have control of things you usually don't have control over, but it's not cool to always take control every single time. Sometimes, you just gotta let the subconscious do some of it, then take advantage of the situations presented to you - in other words, don't JUST do goals. Do different things as you come up with them in lucids!

Hey Clyde
Well... That's why I never have any specific goals for a session. First, you never know where it takes you and second, you may just prefer to do other things. Goals keep you from being spontaneous. I want to be free in my experiences, work with what comes up and don't miss possibly important lessons. Dreams have their own way of teaching.
Anyway, I do have some kind of agenda, things I plan to do at an opportune moment. That way I can try out what's on my mind, but don't restrict myself.
