Oh I know that. My Lucid dream are sometimes also very fuzzy. Once I wanted to hit that guy but I could only move my arms in SlowMotion :/ And once I could only half-open my eyes in the Dream, that sucked |

So last night i had a dream where i was walking through this store and everyone was watching me because i was walking really slow (that feeling like your trying to run through water and legs just wont move fast) well i thought this was weird and did an RC became lucid and then everything went super fuzzy i was just staring at this lady trying to focus and thought i should rub my hands together but instead started to rub them on my legs instead...didn't really work and then woke up, I don't know what i was thinking. |

Oh yeah. Screw ups are inevitable. Its funny looking back on my many missed opportunities/screw ups from my ignorance to the situations. It crazy how we accept things as reality during the dream state, when clearly they are absurd, lol. Don't worry about it. Just try again next time and keep practicing. This is very common and should be no cause for concern. Good luck in your future efforts! |

Focus on a lady? Bad Idea. |

lol i just read that post of yours jarrhead and was going to ask you about it. |

Say it's a person, if you look up and down checking them out that's fine. If you just stare at their crotch then yeah you'll mess up. If you want to focus on a certain small spot (pun) then just "pick it up" with your eyes and move the scene to the side as you move your eyes, sort of like the old myspace layouts. |
|
Hmm...thats odd. Focusing on a small area is one of the stabilization techniques I use. If the dream is a bit fuzzy, I focus my attention on a small specific area. This requires much less brain processing power, and clears my vision up. I then move my attention back to the dreamscape and it helps clear it up as well. Never heard of someone focusing their attention and being kicked from the dream because of it. Not saying it didn't happen, but it is probably just a negative placebo for you. |

I am of the same opinion as Yoshi. I think it is calle REM because your eyes are not paralysed and move as you move them in the dream, not because dreaming itself builds on the movement of your eyes. If you believe waking up when focusing a small spot you might wake from you believe only, not because you hold you eyes still. Anyway, I think it is a bit of wastin a lucid dream if you spend your time in focusing how you use your eyes |

Thorim, I do not focus on my eyes at all. It comes naturally cause I really can't control it. My head will make interesting things in each new direction though. |

That sucks D: |
