Try to decipher what my dream character meant

Before I begin, I want to state that I'm not looking for serious interpretation. This is just for fun to see what weird things people come up with. Everyone I've told this to has laughed when I said it, so I want to see what people think here.



Ok, here it is. I had a zombie apocalypse dream last night. There were zombies everywhere. I had my kitten with me. We found a plane with a pilot that would fly us into the air, for about a half hour, then fly back down. It was just like a short break more then being saved. I became lucid while we were flying, and I remembered there was a lucid task of the month here awhile back that required you to ask a dream character the meaning of life so I was like "what the hell" I wanted to see what he would say partly because he seemed like a dumb DC too, just saying "yeah" and "ok" to everything I said.



So I go "Hey, what's the meaning of life?" and he's like "Well, you see, life's like a movie, but not a whole lot of people see that movie" I was like o.0



Anyway, what do you think he meant by that? Also, since I'm not up to swimming through pages and pages of topics looking for the meaning of life thread: has anyone else asked a DC this and what did they say?

He probably means, life is already planned out for us, were just playing a role.

Life is like a movie (life is entertaining, full of many different characters and scenes, but it is also brief), but many people don't see that movie (most people don't enjoy life to its fullest. They take life for granted or focus too much on the negative and don't enjoy the short time they have.) Just a little philosophy for ya...:P

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing Yoshi. It sounds absurd when you first hear it, but it DID come out of a dream, so it has to have some weird deeper meaning.

With your dream i figure it means essentially what King Yoshi said, except maybe that he means, your life is insignificant and won't impact that many people. Not your life in particular, but ingeneral :D Maybe that means, don't be so self-conscience?

Alot of people downplay "meanings" to dreams as hard as they possibly can. I've always believed that some dreams have deep emotional meanings that reflect what you are feeling/thinking/worrying about at the present time. Of course, I also think that many dreams are just random, crazy, and have no meanings whatsoever. Its really all up to the dreamer themselves to interpret whether their dreams have any true meaning to them, or if they are just the random craziness that often shows up during the dream state. I've never been much for... ex: "tornadoes mean dangerous obstacles are in your near future." I don't believe in that type of dream interpretation, but emotional interpretations are much more realistic, IMO.

PS: Not trying to demoralize anyone who does believe in those types of interpretations. Just my personal belief.

I remember a few years back, some guy apparently broke several ribs, he apparently also punctured a lung, and was damn near dying. All because he had dreamt that he had wanted to save his poodle in a similar setting..

Well, you never know. Maybe lucidity saved you that night? :lol:
