When is the best time to start Lucid Dreaming?

Ok so I've been trying to have a lucid lately. But it seems there is allot of disturbances going on. I have two brothers and they keep coming into my room every time I try to sleep. I sleep on a couch and my room isn't that big. They always come in and interrupt what I'm doing. I have two double doors in my room too so that doesn't help. I want to accomplish in succeeding a lucid dream but I can't do anything. There is too much noise going on. I live in a trailer with my family, my parents, and my brothers so that doesn't help. I am 18 and I don't have a job yet. But I am working in the summer. I am planning to buy a trailer in the trailer park I live in once I can afford it. But the problem is. I cant concentrate on what I am doing. Do you think I should get into practicing my Lucid Dreaming until I can move out of my family's house? My double doors don't have locks on them so that's a bad problem. If anyone that used to have the same problem as me I would appreciate it if anyone could give me tips to have a better Lucid with out any disturbances.

Haha nicley said... Well i too have a few distractions but nothing major, i normally attempt WILDS though (even though i suck at them :D), so i try to go to sleep normal at night and then do a WBTB about 6:00AM when its nice and quite and dark with no distractions.

I take it you're putting most of your effort into WILDing, no?

In your current situation it would probably be benefitial to work on DILDing, as you should be disturbed less during the time when your whole family is asleep.

Also, it couldn't hurt to talk to your brothers. Ask them for some privacy, hopefully they'll understand as it's a fairly small request on your part.
