What to do about losing lucidity during LD?

Had an LD Last night, i was chasing my girlfriend thru crowds of people and we ended up in a shopping mall and i relized it was an ld, there was a blonde woman walking thru the store long blonde hair some cream t-shirt on with cream 3 quarter lengths on her bottoms and she had black high/strappy shoes, didnt see her face but i told my girlfriend it was a dream and she said tell her *the blonde woman* i said "hey" and she wondered off so i left her and decided to fly, i was flying around the mall and went one floor up, when i got into a fight with what appeared to be robin williams out of the night at the museum

and i suddenly lost lucidity and the dream went on, how can i stop this happening?

I just remembered i asked to speak my subconscious or something and a computer monitor mounted to the wall came on.

Sadly, there is no easy way to keep this from happening. You just have to keep reminding yourself that you are dreaming, and try to remain aware. Try to keep the same state of mind you have when you are doing a reality check.

I find I get carried away when I get too involved with the dream's storyline. I also often lose lucidity during conversations with people. Anything that would be distracting and involving in real life distracts me in a dream, too.

try to tell yourself this for example: "wow, this is a crazy dream, look at this mall, look at the robbin williams DC looking one..." and all, so you keep remiding, one technic i never tested was puting a post-it saying you are dreaming in DC foreheads
